Market context, not exact prediction
Our estimate context is directional. It helps answer: Is this bid generally low, typical, or high for this type of work here? It does not replace a licensed inspection, written scope definition, or contractor-specific pricing decisions.
Why multiple written bids matter
Comparing at least two or three written bids reveals differences in scope, exclusions, allowances, and timelines. Written bids also create a paper trail you can review side-by-side before committing.
If one quote is far above or below the others, that is a useful signal to ask follow-up questions before hiring.
